AT A GLANCE
IUP hits the road, traveling to Johnstown for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West matchup with the Mountain Cats of Pitt-Johnstown. The Crimson Hawks enter the game ranked 11th in the nation and riding a two-game win streak. They pulled off a thrilling 66-64 last second victory over Slippery Rock in their last competition. The Mountain Cats are sixth in the PSAC West, in the midst of a three-game losing streak. They have fallen in four of their last five games, including three conference losses.
THE SERIES
IUP holds the all-time series advantage, 32-16 with the Mountain Cats. The Crimson Hawks won the season's previous meeting, claiming a 76-62 victory in November.
LAST TIME OUT

WHAT A GAME
The Crimson Hawks took a thrilling 66-64 victory over heated rival Slippery Rock, Saturday night at the Kovalchick Complex. With just 2.3 seconds on the clock and the score tied at 64-64, Jr. G
Devante Chance (Philadelphia, Pa. /Electrical & Technology Charter) drove the ball down the right side of the court, cut under the hoop and passed the ball to Keita who sunk the contested layup, sending the Crimson Hawks to the victory.
OFFENSE VS. DEFENSE
While the Crimson Hawks boast one of the nation's top defenses, the Mountain Cats have one of the conference's top offenses. Pitt-Johnstown is third in the conference in scoring offense (76.2 points per game), first in field goal percentage (47.5), third in three point field goal percentage (36.4), fourth in three point field goals (6.4 per game) and second in field goal percentage (77.8). On the other side of the ball, the Crimson Hawks are first in the PSAC, and second in the nation, in scoring defense (allowing 58.3 points per game), second in field goal percentage defense (38.0), first in three point field goal percentage defense (25.6) and first in opponent free throw percentage (74.9).

Marcel Souberbielle (Montevideo, Uruguay/Uruguayan American School) is just 10 points shy of the 1,000 point mark. A four year member of the program, Souberbielle has averaged double digit points in eight of his last nine games. On the season, he's averaging 15.9 points per game, while grabbing 5.6 boards per game and shooting 44.3 percent from the floor.

Devante Chance (Philadelphia, Pa. /Electrical & Technology Charter) sits at second in the PSAC in assists and steals. The point guard is averaging 3.9 helpers per game, on pace for 102 on the season. He's also putting up 2.2 steals per game, on pace for 56 on the season.Â
SCOUTING PITT-JOHNSTOWN
This is the second meeting between the Crimson Hawks and the Mountain Cats in UPJ's inaugural year in the PSAC. Pitt-Johnstown enters the game with the conference's highest field goal percentage (47.5), third-ranked three-point percentage (36.4) and third-ranked scoring offense (76.2). They're led by two players who average 13+ points per game in, Jr. F/C Ian Vescovi and Sr. F Bill Luther. Vescovi average 13.6 points per game, 7.1 rebounds per game and has a conference-leading field goal percentage of 60.1. Earlier this season, Luther surpassed the 1,000 point mark for his career and averages 13.2 points per game, shooting 40.0 percent from behind the arc.Â
