IUP will look to extend its win streak to seven this weekend and are coming off of a blowout 84-62 win over Cheyney. Cal is on a four-game win streak, including a 72-63 home victory over ESU on Wednesday.

Brandon Norfleet (Virginia Beach, Va. /Landstown) scored 19 points - going 11-12 from the foul line - against his former team.
WHAT'S NEXTThe Crimson Hawks return home to host Edinboro next Wednesday. Despite their 7-7 record, the Fighting Scots boast one of the top scoring offenses in the PSAC and have the league's leading scorer - Henri Wade-Chatman.
IUP IN THE POLLSIUP remained at No. 20 in the latest NABC coaches poll, released on Tuesday. The Crimson Hawks have been ranked in the top 25 of all six coaches polls this season. They continue to receive votes in the
D2SIDA media poll.
REGIONAL RANKINGSIUP holds steady at No. 3 in the latest D2SIDA Atlantic Region rankings. This regional media poll is new this year and is voted on by a group of four sports information directors in each NCAA
Division II region.
HOT OFFENSEThe Crimson Hawks scoring has picked up over their recent six-game win streak, averaging 85 ppg during that span. They've scored 80+ points five times and are shooting 52.6 pct from the floor and 43.7 pct from 3-point range.
FLOOR GENERALSr. G
Devante Chance (Philadelphia, Pa. /Electrical & Technology Charter) has led the offensive charge in the past six games, averging 17.3 ppg while dishing out 40 assists. He's shooting 51.5 pct from the field and has made 14-35 3FGs (40.0 pct).
SEEING DOUBLEChance tallied his 2nd double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 assists against Cheyney. Both double-doubles have been of the point-assist variety, also tying his career-high with 10 dimes against Mansfield.
FLEET OF FOOTThe leading point-scorer on IUP's recent tear has been Jr. G
Brandon Norfleet (Virginia Beach, Va. /Landstown), who's averaging 17.5 ppg with 52.9 FG% in the last six contests. He had a season-high 21 points vs. Lock Haven and scored 19 points against his former team - Cheyney.
HEATING UPAlso on a hot streak has been Sr. F
Jeremy Jeffers (Wilson, N.C./Greenfield School). He's reached double-figures in scoring in four of his last five games, averaging 10.2 ppg over that span. He's shooting 65.5 pct (19-29) from the field and 61.1 pct (11-18) from 3-point range in those games.
CLUTCH AT THE LINENorfleet has been clutch when it counts at the foul line this year, going a perfect 10-10 in the final 5 minutes of games. He's shooting 91.2 pct from the line this year, and has gone 27-28 in the last six games.
DISHING IT OUTThe Crimson Hawks are 2nd in the PSAC and 35th in Division II with 16.9 assists per game. Chance leads one of the top passing teams in the region with 6.3 apg, which leads the league and 16th in Division II.
MOVING UP THE CHARTSChance recently moved into the top five all-time at IUP with 390 career assists. He's now 16 behind Yancey Taylor (1992-95) for 4th and has a shot at Ashton Smith's (2008-12) all-time mark of 456.
SUCCESS AT THE LINEIUP leads the PSAC and is 7th in Division II with an 77.9 FT% this year. Four players convert at least 80 pct from the line, including Jeffers at 92.9 pct (13-14) and Norfleet at 91.2 pct (31-34). Chance is the highest IUP player to qualify for PSAC rankings, sitting 9th in the league at 80.4 pct (37-46).
PLAYING DEFENSEThe Crimson Hawks boast arguably the best defense in the PSAC as they're 2nd in the conference and 6th in the nation with just 60.3 points allowed per game. IUP has given up 62 or less points in eight of its 15 games, including a season-low 41 to West Virginia Wesleyan.
STEALING THE SHOWChance is one of IUP's best defenders as he leads the team and is tied for 6th in the PSAC with 29 steals. He's had at least 2 steals in nine of his 15 games this year, including 4 each against Seton Hill and Mansfield.
BLOCK PARTYAlso adding to IUP's defensive prowess is R-Jr. F
Devon Cottrell (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Gateway), who is 2nd in school history with 112 career blocks. His 28 blocks this year is 2nd in the PSAC and he's now 50 away from tying IUP's all-time mark of 162 held by Darryl Webb (2007-11).
SCOUTING CALIFORNIAPicked to finished 7th in the PSAC West preseason poll, Cal has surprised with an 11-4 overall record and a pair of four-game winning streaks. The Vulcans feature a balanced team with up to 10 players who see playing time. Four players average double-figures in scoring, led by Jr. F Richard Smith at 12.7 ppg. Smith is also the team's leading rebounder, pulling down 9.1 rpg, and has six double-doubles on the year. The Vulcans give up an average of 69 points and lead the league by forcing opponents to shoot a paltry 26.6 pct from three-point range.
