LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior
Dalton Trump (Lancaster, Pa. /J.P. McCaskey) and freshman
Ryan Louther (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) finished in the top eight runners to help the IUP men's cross country team place third at Saturday's Go-Fast River Run at Lock Haven.
Trump came across the finish line of the 8-kilometer race in a time of 26:20.36 for sixth place and fifth place in the official team scoring. Louther's 26:30.40 time was good for eighth overall and seventh in the team scoring.
Sophomore
Tyler Vella (Danville, Pa. /Danville) came across the line in 26:42.40 in 12th place and 11th overall.
Also finishing in the top 31 runners for the Crimson Hawks were freshman
Jabari Freeman (Staten Island, N.Y. /Abington ), freshman
Noah Mandel (Erie, Pa./Harbor Creek)l and sophomore
John Michael Mihalek (Coal Center, Pa./California Area).
The Crimson Hawks return to the course Saturday the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships at Lock Haven. Race time is set for 11:45 a.m.
