INDIANA, Pa. — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its Cross Country All-Academic Athletes on Thursday.

Two IUP men's cross country runners, including PSAC champion Mike Formica and Nathan Kociela, were named to the All-Academic team. Zaya McCune earned All-Academic honors on the women's side.

To qualify, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 30% of their respective regional championship meet.

The IUP women's team was also recognized as an All-Academic Team. Teams must record a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale during the most recent grading period and compile a team score at their respective regional championship.
