THE GAME
On a weekend that includes a couple of schedule changes, the Crimson Hawks will play in one final home game when they host PSAC East foe Cheyney on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. from Frank Cignetti Field. Originally scheduled to be on the road at West Chester, IUP will get one last game on its home turf on PSAC Championship weekend. The Crimson Hawks are riding a two-game win streak over a pair of former regionally-ranked opponents, including a 26-14 win last week over Gannon. Cheyney has lost 42 straight games entering this weekend and is 0-10 this year.

The game will be broadcast on WQMU 92.5 FM with the voice of IUP Athletics, Jack Benedict, calling the action. You can also listen on u92radio.com and on the u92radio app on your smartphone.

STORYLINES
• The Crimson Hawks were originally scheduled to play at West Chester this week, but the Golden Rams clinched a spot in the PSAC "State Game" and IUP will now play Cheyney, which was set to play WCU's new opponent this week, Slippery Rock.
• IUP hopes to be able to rest some players and get back to full strenghth against the winless Wolves as the Crimson Hawks prepare for the possibility of earning a berth in the NCAA playoffs, which begin next week.
• Teams with playoff hopes will be jockeying for position this weekend. Three teams ranked above IUP - Bowie State (second), Slippery Rock (fourth) and Assumption (fifth) - are playing in conference championship games. Virginia Union (seventh) is idle, while New Haven (ninth) will be playing Assumption.
• R-Fr. QB Lenny Williams (McKees Rocks, Pa./Sto-Rox) (987 yards) and So. RB Chris Temple (Malvern, Pa. /Great Valley) (969) are each looking to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark for the season. It would be the first time since 2012 - Harvie Tuck (1,660) and De'Antwan Williams (1,325) - that IUP would have two players reach that milestone.
• Williams would become the first PSAC quarterback to rush for 1,000 yards in a season if he gains 13 yards today.
• With his next touchdown, Temple will be come the 10th player in IUP history to score 100 points in a season. With 16 rushing touchdowns, he's currently tied for 10th in a single season with 96 points. Michael Mann (1993) has the all-time record of 126 points.
• IUP has never lost to Cheyney, outscoring the Wolves 321-26 in the two teams' six previous matchups. HC Curt Cignetti has faced Cheyney twice - in 2013 (49-0) and 2012 (56-0).

NOTEBOOK

CRIMSON HAWKS STAY AT No. 6 IN THIS WEEK'S REGIONAL RANKINGS
With the top nine teams from last week's Super Region One rankings all winning on Saturday, there wasn't much movement as the latest top 10 was released on Monday. The top seven teams from each region advance to postseason play, with the top overall seed to receive a bye. The final 28-team playoff bracket will be revealed on Sunday, Nov. 15. See page seven for more details.

CIGNETTI vs. THE PSAC EAST
HC Curt Cignetti is 10-4 against the PSAC East since coming to IUP in 2011, including 3-0 records in 2012 and 2013. The Crimson Hawks lost to Kutztown 34-33 and defeated Lock Haven 38-13 early this year.

THE DAWN OF A NEW OFFENSIVE ERA
2015 marks a new era for the IUP offense as the Crimson Hawks have switched to an up-tempo spread set. New OC Marty Higgins joined the coaching staff this summer from Upper Iowa University. This is the first time since the 1970s that IUP is not running an "I" formation or pro set. The comparison below shows the Crimson Hawks' offensive numbers in 2014 and their 2015 averages under Higgins. Click on above PDF for more information.

In his four-plus seasons as head coach, Cignetti has a 32-7 record when an IUP player rushes for at least 100 yards in a game.
