THE GAME AT A GLANCE
The 17th-ranked Crimson Hawks continue their home stand on Saturday when they host PSAC East foe Mansfield at the Kovalchick Complex. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. IUP is coming off a split of its conference crossover games last weekend, highlighted by a 77-76 last second win over No. 8 Kutztown on Sunday. Mansfield has had a back-and-forth start to the season, also splitting it's weekend games at Clarion and UPJ. The Crimson Hawks are 8-1 overall and 3-1 in the PSAC while Mansfield is 4-3 and 2-2.

Joe Lombardi is 6-2 record against Mansfield in his career, including four straight wins dating back to the 2011-12 season; He has a 173-64 record (.729) against teams on this year's schedule

The Crimson Hawks are the only team in the PSAC West - and one of three teams in the conference - to have five players average at least 10 points per game. All eight players in IUP's main rotation have hit double-figures at least once this year, led by So. F
Jacobo Diaz (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain/CBA Gran Canaria) and Jr. G
Anthony Glover (Toledo, Ohio/St. John's Jesuit) each with eight. Diaz leads the team with 16.0 points per game while Glover averages 14.6.
JACOBO DIAZ PROVES HIMSELF ONE OF BEST IN THE WEST, AVERAGES DOUBLE-DOUBLE PER GAME
Landing on the Preseason All-PSAC West team as voted by the coaches, Diaz is living up to that status as he's one of only two players in the conference averaging a double-double with 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Diaz is also fifth in the PSAC with a 57.3 field goal percentage (55-96), averages 2.8 assists per game, and leads the team with 15 steals. He was also named the PSAC West Athlete of the Week on Nov. 21.
DEVON COTTRELL IS IUP's BLOCKED SHOTS KING, HAS RETURNED TO FORM AFTER INJURY

Devon Cottrell (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Gateway) has returned to the lineup as a regular starter to average a career-high 10.3 points along with 4.9 rebounds per game in seven games. The highlight of his comeback came against Kutztown, making the game-winning putback with 0.1 seconds left in the 77-76 victory. Cottrell also broke Darryl Webb's (2007-11) all-time program record with 163 career blocked shots. He also has career-best shooting percentages of 64.4 percent from the field and 82.4 percent from the foul line.

Anthony Glover (Toledo, Ohio/St. John's Jesuit) has taken on a larger role in is second year at IUP. Glover is second on the team with 14.6 points and 3.1 assists per game, and is among the PSAC leaders with a 46.1 field goal percentage, 39.2 three-point percentage, and 20 made treys. Glover has reached double-figures in scoring eight times, including a season-high 19 points against Bowie State, also tallying 17 points on 7-14 shooting against No. 8 Kutztown.
DANTE LOMBARDI PICKING UP WHERE HE LEFT OFF AFTER FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR SEASON

Dante Lombardi (Indiana, Pa./The Kiski School) has taken over as the starting point guard this season. Lombardi is third on the team with 12.3 points per game and ranks seventh in the PSAC with 5.0 assists per contest. He has a team-high 21 made three-pointers, making at least three in a game six times this season. He has season-highs of 16 points twice, and dished out a career-high nine assists against Bowie State.
BLAKE DANIELAK ADDS SCORING OFF THE BENCH

Blake Danielak (Georgetown, Tex./Liberty Hill) has been a valuable scorer off the bench. He's fourth on the team with 11.6 points per game, scoring at least 10 points six times this year. He led IUP in scoring in both games of its opening weekend, and had a career-high 20 points at Lock Haven.
MALIK MILLER HAVING GOOD START TO HIS COLLEGE CAREER

Malik Miller (Farrell, Pa./Farrell) cracked IUP's rotation as a true freshman, averaging 20.3 minutes in nine games off the bench. He's putting up 6.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor. Miller was named the first PSAC West Freshman of the Week of the season after averaging 12.5 points and 3.0 assists in the Crimson Hawks' opening weekend games, including a season-high 14 points against Lincoln.
THE CRIMSON HAWKS ARE NEARLY UNBEATABLE AT HOME

Joe Lombardi, IUP boasts a record of 140-27 (.838) at home, including a 6-1 mark this year. Lombardi and the Crimson Hawks had 18-0 and 16-1 home records during their 2009-10 and 2014-15 national finalist seasons, losing just 13 games in Indiana in the last nine seasons. Since the opening of the Kovalchick Convention & Athletic Complex in 2011-12, the Crimson Hawks have a 74-9 record (.892) in their new arena.
