Against Dominican, Beers put the Crimson Hawks up 1-0 in the bottom of the second with a solo home run to center. After placing Ashley Smith (Roaring Spring, Pa./Central) on second to begin the inning, IUP was retired in order in the bottom half of the ninth.

Goetz was 2-for-5 while Beers was 1-for-4 with a home run and RBI.
