WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
IUP softball (7-9, 1-3 PSAC Central) heads out on the road for a pair of divisional doubleheaders this weekend, battling Bloomsburg (11-14, 3-5 PSAC Central) Friday and Clarion (4-18, 1-5 PSAC Central) Saturday. The Crimson Hawks opened their divisional schedule last weekend with games at Lock Haven and Mansfield, going 1-3.
NOTES
>> IUP's Sunday games at Lock Haven marked the first time in more than three weeks that the team had seen the field
>> They did show some rust after the extended time off, hitting .231 as a team but despite a 1-3 record had just a -5 scoring margin in the four games

Renee Wall (Topton, PA/Brandywine Heights) led the team with a .462 batting average and .769 slugging percentage in those four games, including four doubles and four runs scored

Amanda Parrish (Dysart, Pa./Altoona) with .455 with a .538 on-base percentage and four RBI and Sr.
Alaina Montgomery (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) hit .357 with five base hits

Brooklyn Kotula (Ambridge, Pa./Ambridge) picked up IUP's lone win in relief, tossing three innings of shutout ball in the 9-5 comeback victory at Manfield
>> Wall is putting together a standout freshman season, leading the team in nearly every offensive category, including batting average (.386), base hits (17), doubles (7), home runs (2), runs batted in (14), slugging percentage (.682), walks (9), at-bats per strikeout (8.8), and on-base percentage (.473)
