THE WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
No. 8 IUP men's basketball (3-0, 0-0 PSAC) brings its early season momentum into a pair of PSAC crossovers as the Crimson Hawks host Bloomsburg (2-2, 0-0 PSAC) and East Stroudsburg (3-1, 0-0 PSAC) in conference opening weekend. Tipoff times for Saturday and Sunday are 3 p.m. IUP returns to action after last Friday's 82-78 comeback win at Le Moyne while Bloomsburg is coming off a 101-point output in a win over Chestnut Hill and East Stroudsburg picked up a 24-point win over Felician.
TIPOFF NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks trailed Le Moyne by 7 at the break but opened the second half on a 17-0 run led by R-So. G
Armoni Foster. Foster finished with a career-high 28 points, including 22 in the second half alone.

Tommy Demogerontas posted his second straight double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds, both career-highs. He shot 9-16 from the field, including 3-6 from 3-point range.
>> IUP is 169-21 (.889) at home over the last 12 seasons, including a 19-2 mark last season.
>> The Crimson Hawks are 10-3 in PSAC openers under HC
Joe Lombardi, including three straight wins. IUP has also swept its season-opening divisional crossover games each of the past three years.
>> Lombardi is 7-2 lifetime against Bloomsburg including five straight wins. He's 9-4 against East Stroudsburg.
>> Lombardi and Warriors HC Jeff Wilson are two of the three active PSAC coaches with 300 career wins. Wilson is 8th in the league's history with 322 wins in 18 years and Lombardi is 10th with 308 in 14 seasons.

Malik Miller hit the 1,000-point milestone during IUP's win at Le Moyne. He became the 34th player in program history to reach the feat and heads into the weekend with 1,013 career points.
>> The Crimson Hawks moved up three spots to No. 8 in this week's NABC rankings and are No. 7 in the D2SIDA poll. IUP was ranked in the top 10 each week a year ago, including a three-week stretch at No. 2 to finish out the year. It was the highest ever end-of-season ranking for the program.
