Box Score 4 CLERMONT, Fla. – Freshman
Jenna Rhue had two doubles and drove in four runs to help lead IUP softball to an 11-0 blowout win over Holy Family during Monday afternoon play at The Spring Games in Clermont, Florida.

Brooklyn Kotula put up another big performance in the circle by scattering four hits in the 5-inning complete game victory.
Both of Rhue's doubles came during 4-run innings and were part of five doubles in the game for the Crimson Hawks.
Kassie Kesneck hit the first two-bagger to give IUP a 1-0 lead in the first inning.
Renee Wall followed with an RBI double in the second and Rhue's first double of the day later that inning drove in
Kaitlyn Beers and gave IUP a 5-0 lead.
The Crimson Hawks tacked on four more in the fourth, highlighted by a 3-run double to left center by Rhue. Two more runs came across the board in the fifth with a pair of bases loaded walks.
IUP ended up splitting its Monday games, losing to Kutztown 10-8 in the nightcap.
The Crimson Hawks again had five doubles and 10 hits overall. Kesneck was one of four players with two hits in the game, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, and RBI and two runs scored. Rhue and
Karley Kovatch each had two hits and two RBI while Wall had a two base hits from her leadoff spot.
IUP held a 3-2 lead until things took off in the fourth inning as the lead changed three times. Kutztown went on top 5-3 with three runs on three hits in the bottom half. The Crimson Hawks came right back and regained the lead in the next half inning with RBIs from Kovatch,
Bethany Bunner and Wall.
Kutztown answered in the bottom of the fifth with three more runs and the Crimson Hawks tied the game at 8-8 after a two-out RBI double off the bat of Kotula. The game was won in the bottom of the sixth with two runs by the Golden Bears to make it 10-8.
Crimson Hawks 2-4 so far in Florida
Monday marked the third day of play for the Crimson Hawks at The Spring Games.
They opened their week Friday with an exciting 6-5 win over Walsh as Beers blasted a walk-off solo homer to lead off the bottom of the seventh.
IUP lost to Mercy 3-2 later that day and also has losses to Concord (8-5) and Augustana (7-2).
Up next
The Crimson Hawks are back in action Tuesday with afternoon games against Truman State and Shepherd. They'll play six more games after that and end their time in Florida Saturday.
