GAMES AT A GLANCE
The IUP softball team (9-20-1, 4-4 PSAC Central) heads into a weekend of divisional games as they play at Pitt-Johnstown (15-11, 5-3) Thursday and host Clarion (0-31, 0-8) for Senior Day Saturday. The Clarion doubleheader will serve as the open for the second half of divisional play with five teams currently in the hunt for three postseason spots. The Crimson Hawks are coming off a weekend split of games against Bloomsburg and Lock Haven, which are both in a three-way tie with UPJ for first in the division and one game ahead of IUP in the standings.
The Clarion doubleheader marks IUP's final home Saturday game of the year, which means the Crimson Hawks will be celebrating the careers of seniors
Lauren Goetz,
Megan Risinger and
Lauren Zola. The trio will be honored in between games.
NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks split a non-divisional doubleheader at Seton Hill Tuesday, winning 5-4 and losing 3-1.
