GAMES AT A GLANCE
The IUP softball team (6-17-1, 2-2 PSAC Central) has a weekend full of divisional games against Bloomsburg (14-11, 3-1 PSAC Central) Saturday and at Lock Haven (14-12, 2-2 PSAC Central) Sunday. The Crimson Hawks opened divisional play this week with losses to Mansfield Tuesday before a road sweep of Clarion Wednesday. They totaled 29 runs on 30 hits in their two wins over the Golden Eagles. Bloomsburg has won five in a row while Lock Haven has lost three of its last four.

Jenna Rhue had a career day in the game one 17-5 win over Clarion, going 4-5 with a double, triple, six RBI and two runs scored.

Renee Wall was another individual with a successful day against Clarion, going a combined 5-7 with two doubles, four RBI and six runs scored in the doubleheader.
>> Both Rhue and Wall are hitting over .300 on the season and have a combined nine doubles, two triples and two home runs.
>> Wall is on a 6-game hit streak where she's batting .579 with eight RBI with eight runs scored. She leads the team with 17 RBI and a .531 slugging percentage.

Brooklyn Kotula has IUP's longest reached base streak with a current run of seven games dating back to IUP's doubleheader with Shippensburg.
>> In eight games since returning from its trip to Florida, IUP is hitting .340 and has raised its season batting average nearly 40 points to .265. The Crimson Hawks have four straight games of double-digit hits.
>> IUP will look to keep pace in what is becoming a tight early season divisional race. Mansfield and Bloomsburg are each 3-1 in PSAC Central play with IUP, Lock Haven and UPJ each with 2-2 record.
>> IUP split its season series with Bloomsburg last year, taking one game each on the road and at home. Lock Haven took all four from the Crimson Hawks in 2018.
