Crimson Hawks head to Mansfield Wednesday before home matchup with Bloomsburg
The IUP field hockey team (1-0, 0-0 PSAC) carries momentum into week two of the season with a game at Mansfield Wednesday (4 p.m.) before returning home to host Bloomsburg Saturday (1 p.m.). Although mandated PSAC matchups, these will count as non-conference games in the standings. The Crimson Hawks are coming off a resounding season-opening 5-1 win over visiting Frostburg State Saturday as freshman
Blaise Cugini scored two goals and added an assist. Mansfield opened with two blowout wins while the Huskies are 0-1 after an overtime loss to Bellarmine.

>> The win over Frostburg State was the first in a season-opener for the Crimson Hawks since defeating Newberry 3-2 in OT to open the 2015 season.
