THE GAME AT A GLANCE
No. 9 IUP men's basketball (11-1, 6-1 PSAC) starts a three-game road swing Wednesday with a trip to Slippery Rock (6-7, 2-5 PSAC). Tipoff at Morrow Field House is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Crimson Hawks have opened 2020 with back-to-back victories, including a 71-56 win over Mercyhurst in their divisional opener Monday night at the KCAC. The Rock has dropped three of the last four, including a 94-93 last second loss to Cal U Monday. 

TIPOFF NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks opened its divisional slate with a typical PSAC West battle against Meryhurst, limiting the Lakers to a season-low 56 points while outrebounding them by 15. 
>> R-So. G Armoni Foster led the team in scoring for the sixth straight with 18 points as four Crimson Hawks scored in double-figures. Jr. G Shawndale Jones came off the bench to score 14 points. 
>> Foster leads IUP with 17.8 PPG and is the top shooting guard in the PSAC with a 51.9 FG%. 
>> Sr. F Chucky Humphries was named PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week Tuesday after averaging 9.0 RPG with 6 blocks and 4 steals in IUP's wins over Lock Haven and Mercyhurst. 
>> HC Joe Lombardi is 24-7 lifetime against Slippery Rock, including 9-7 in Morrow Field House. The Rock won last season's matchup in Slippery Rock, 74-69. 
>> Through 12 games this is the most productive offense in the Lombardi era, leading the PSAC West in scoring at 82.2 PPG and ranking 3rd in the entire league with a 48.9 FG%. 
>> This will be IUP's first road game since falling to Shippensburg 69-66 on Dec. 21. The Crimson Hawks are 3-1 on the road this year and 35-5 (.875) away from home over the last four seasons. 
>> The Rock is 3-3 at home this year, including a 25-point loss to Shippensburg back in November. 
>> F Micah Till (16.4 PPG) returned to the court for SRU five games ago, spending the last four as a starter.
