LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - IUP senior forward
Mahogany Willis was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
The Crimson Hawks played just once last week, but Willis made it count as she tallied a hat trick in IUP's 4-3 comeback overtime win on the road at Edinboro on Wednesday.
Willis scored in the 43rd, 65th, and 98th minutes of the win, with the last acting as the game-winner in OT. It was her eighth career multi-goal game and her second career hat trick. Willis is the first IUP player since Sarah Romasco (2006-09) to record more than two hat tricks in a career.Â
This is Willis' third career PSAC weekly honor.Â
Willis bought her career goal total to 33, moving into seventh place in IUP history.Â

Willis and the Crimson Hawks play the top two teams in the division this week as they host Gannon Wednesday and travel to Slippery Rock on Saturday.
