INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP baseball program heads into its sixth weekend of competition with a four-game set against division foe Pitt-Johnstown. The Crimson Hawks head to Johnstown to open the series Friday and will host the Mountain Cats Saturday. Both doubleheaders will start at 1 p.m.
The Crimson Hawks are 1-15 overall, 0-8 in the PSAC West. Pitt-Johnstown is 9-7 and tied for second in the division with a 5-3 record.
Spectator Policies
IUP Athletics is allowing spectators at outdoor events this spring. Any fans visiting Owen J. Dougherty Field are asked to keep socially distant from each other, participating teams, student-athletes, school officials and other game day personnel. When not able to socially distant, please wear masks.
Pitt-Johnstown allows up to 400 visitors at Point Stadium. Masks must be worn and all times and social distancing is required.

Harrison Pontoli started a new hit streak over the weekend, batting safely in all four games. He started the year with an 11-game streak, seeing it end after being forced to leave the fourth game of the Seton Hill series due to health and safety guidelines.

Chris Eisel hit his second homer of the season last weekend. Three of his 10 hits this year have gone for extra bases and he's a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts.
