LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – IUP women's soccer junior Hannah Scardina was named the Pennsylvania State Athletics Conference (PSAC) West Offensive Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday.
 
Scardina figured in on all three of IUP's goals in a pair of games last week in Erie County. The Indiana, Pa. native assisted on a goal against Edinboro before finding the back of the net twice in an impressive team win at Mercyhurst on October 22.
 
Scardina has eight goals on the season, tied for second in the PSAC this season. She has 18 points in 15 games played for the Crimson Hawks, recording at least one point in five of the last six outings.
 
IUP opens the final week of the regular season at home, hosting Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday, October 26 at 1:00 p.m.
