INDIANA, Pa. - IUP sophomore midfielder Sarah Reustle was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week for women's lacrosse, announced Tuesday afternoon. 

Reustle was dominant defensively in the Crimson Hawks' 17-2 season-opening win over Ashland on Saturday, posting career-highs of eight ground balls and six caused turnovers. 

She is of nine Division II players with six caused turnovers, and one of 10 with at least eight ground balls in a game after the opening week of play.

This Reustle's second career PSAC weekly award, also winning defensive player of the week once as a freshman last season.
