INDIANA, Pa. – IUP head men's basketball coach Joe Lombardi added another ACC opponent to his program's 2022-23 exhibition slate, as the Crimson Hawks will play at the University of Miami. The game is scheduled for Sunday, October 30 at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables.

This will be the second exhibition of the preseason for the Hawks, who play at Syracuse on Tuesday, October 25.

IUP is coming off a 33-win season, a third straight conference tournament title, and a trip to the Division II national semifinals. Lombardi regularly challenges his team with top Division I opponents during the exhibition season, including past games against Illinois, Kentucky, Villanova, Syracuse, Michigan State, Maryland, Pitt, Florida State, and South Florida.

The Hurricanes are coming off a 26-11 record and trip to the Elite Eight last season under head coach Jim Larrañaga.
