LEBANON, Pa. – The IUP men's golf team is one shot off the lead from first-place Millersville, which put together a strong round on Saturday, as the Crimson Hawks enter the final round in second at Iron Valley Golf Club.
 
Millersville jumped two spots with a 298 on Saturday, taking a one-shot lead (607) over IUP (608) in the team standings. Gannon and Pitt-Johnstown are tied for third with a combined mark of 620.
 
Shaun Fedor paced the IUP lineup with a one-over 73 on Saturday, bringing his two-round total to 149. Fedor played the front nine at an even par, finishing the round with birdies on three, 11 16 and 18. He rose five spots on the individual leaderboard.
 
Aidan LeBlanc bounced back from a tough start on the front nine, closing the final four holes at a combined two-under par. LeBlanc finished with a 79 on Saturday, entering the final round tied for sixth with a 153.
 
Guillermo Salazar maintained his positioning within the top-10 individually with a 79 on Saturday, pushing his two-day score to 154. Alex Swinnerton held steady in a tie for 12th with a second-round 79.
 
John Olsen improved his score by six strokes round over round with a 76 on Saturday, entering the final day in 23rd.
 
Millersville has a combined score of nine-under across par fives, with IUP second in the field over those holes at -5. The Hawks lead the field with 26 birdies, including seven each across the tournament for Salazar and Fedor.
 
IUP struggled on the opening hole across the lineup, which is playing as the toughest hole on the course (+0.86).
