WATERTOWN, Conn. – IUP men's golf finished the initial 36 holes of the Post Invitational in second overall among the team standings, just five shots off the lead heading into Tuesday's final round at Watertown Golf Course.
Individually, sophomore
John Olsen paced the IUP lineup with a two-over score through 36 holes, in a tie for fifth overall. Olsen ranked second in the field with seven birdies across 36 holes on Monday.
Sophomore
Guillermo Salazar logged a 36-hole tally of four over on Monday, entering the final round in a tie for 11th place.
Alex Swinnerton and
Shaun Fedor were each six over through two rounds in 18th place, while
Aidan LeBlanc is tied for 33rd (+10).
LeBlanc posted a first-round score of 70 over the initial 18 holes.
Cameron Gerue carded a +11 on Monday and a tie for 41st with
Jon Vinge rounding out the IUP lineup in a tie for 66th (+18).
