INDIANA, Pa. -- IUP women's volleyball head coach
Lorelle Hoyer has unveiled the team's 2023 spring schedule and upcoming summer camp dates for the program.
In her first season at the helm of the IUP volleyball program, the Hawks posted their first 20-win season and NCAA tournament berth since 2017.
IUP kicks off the spring slate with road action at Clarion on March 25.
IUP's first home spring contest takes place on April 1 at the Memorial Fieldhouse. Matches go throughout the day, starting at 10:00 a.m. with West Liberty, Slippery Rock, Seton Hill, Frostburg State and Shippensburg all expected on campus.
The complete spring schedule is listed below:
- March 25 -- at Clarion
- April 1 -- Memorial Fieldhouse (10:00 a.m.) | West Liberty, Slippery Rock, Seton Hill, Frostburg State and Shippensburg will be attending.
- April 14 -- IUP vs. Bethany (6:00 p.m.) | IUP vs. West Liberty (7:00 p.m.) (at West Liberty)
- April 22 -- Home location TBA | IUP vs Clarion (10:00 a.m.) | Clarion vs. Fairmont State (approx. 11:15 a.m.) | IUP vs. Fairmont State (approx. 12:30 p.m.)
VolleyHawk camps are back this summer, taking place during the week of July 24-30. During that week, IUP hosts four different camps open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
