INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA released the Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships selections this week and IUP standout
Kendall Branan qualified to compete in the 800 meters in Virginia later this month.
Branan, named an All-PSAC Second Team honoree for his finish at the conference championships last weekend, with a seeded time of 1:50.22 in the 800.
The sophomore is a two-time PSAC Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week this season, earning the accolades on January 30 and February 20.
Branan earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 800 during last year's indoor and outdoor seasons, continuing his momentum into the indoor campaign in 2023.
The 2023 NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships are slated from March 10-11 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Brannan is set to race in the 800m prelims on Friday, March 10 at approximately 4:55 p.m.
