Formica, Williams Named to All-Academic Team

INDIANA, Pa. – Two Crimson Hawk student athletes were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Athletes list, as released by the USTFCCCA on Monday. Kaylla Williams and Mike Formica were both put on the list by the coach's association.
 
To be considered, both athletes had to achieve a minimum of a 3.25 GPA, academically eligible at the National Championship, and finished the season in the top 50 individuals on TFRRS.
 
Williams finished in the top 13 in the NCAA Nationals and earned an All-American Honorable Mention with her finish. Formica earned two individual titles in the PSAC Championships and was named the Outstanding Track Athlete at the event.
