CANTON, OHIO – The IUP men's golf team enters the final day of the Malone-Glenmoor Fall Invitational with ground to gain after the initial 36 holes on Monday in Ohio.
As a team, IUP is 11th overall with a combined score of 611 in a talented field. The Crimson Hawks opened the day with a first round team score of 310 before posting a 301 over the next 18 holes.
Individually, sophomore
Alex Swinnerton paces the IUP lineup in a tie for 14th following rounds of 75 (+3) and 73 (+1) for a combined total of 148. Sophomore
Guillermo Salazar posted a 78 (+6) over the opening 18 holes before settling in with a second-round tally of 74 (+2).
Fifth year
Shaun Fedor and sophomore
Cameron Gerue both finished tied for 50th overall with a 36-hole score of 157 (+13).
Freshman
Jon Vinge, competing as an individual, is tied for 59th with a score of 160. Freshman Aiden LeBlan had a 78 over the first round before withdrawing in the second round.
