No. 49 IUP won its fourth straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) tournament championship last weekend with a 4-2 victory over Slippery Rock at Bloomsburg University. It marked the sixth conference title in the last seven seasons for IUP, which boasts a 14-8 overall record and 10 straight victories.
The NCAA Division II Championship field is made up of 48 teams, including 21 automatic qualifiers and 27 at-large selections. IUP is one of 16 regional host sites across the country for the preliminary round matchups, held May 10-11.
