INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP men's and women's swimming teams combined for six student-athletes selected to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team, released by the organization on Tuesday.
For the men,
Tyler Uhlig (early childhood education),
Nicholas Roddy (psychology), and
Jeremiah Laslavic (finance) were named all-district honorees. The women's team also had three academic all-district selections in
Summer Esson (criminology),
Avital Flaishman (psychology), and
Catrina Miller (athletic administration).
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Information related to GPAs and academic majors were pulled following the fall 2024 semester.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
