LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- IUP junior Delaney Patella was named the PSAC West Softball Athlete of the Week, announced Monday afternoon.
Patella appeared in six games over the last week and had a standout performance. IUP's overall record is 22-10 and 13-5 in conference action.
She went 9-for-15 at the plate, scored six runs, had five doubles, two home runs, and drove in15 RBIs.
Her two home runs came against Edinboro against Gannon.
Patella's season best performance was on Sunday against Gannon in the first game when she went 3-for-4 at the plate, scored two runs, hit a home run, and had seven RBIs. Overall in the Gannon series, she tallied three doubles and three runs.
