LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – IUP second-year head coach
Andrew McGlashen repeats as the 2024-25 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Coach of the Year, one of seven total awards for the IUP women's tennis program as the league released on Friday.
In back-to-back season, McGlashen has been named the PSAC West Coach of the Year. He led the team to their fifth consecutive PSAC title and NCAA Tournament appearance. Meanwhile, IUP was well represented in the league's singles and doubles awards in the PSAC West.
Ming Deewajee,
Dani Ramos, and Lieselotte Hartlohner were named first team All-PSAC West honorees in singles. The nationally-ranked doubles duo of Deewajee and
Dani Ramos picked up first team doubles honors, for the second consecutive year.
Deewajee was a previous first team selection and Ramos was a previous second team selection in 2024.
Hannah Beitat and
Asel Calbay rounded out the IUP honorees as All-PSAC West selections in singles (second team), both marking their first conference honors.
McGlashen took over the program in early July 2023 and has continued the winning ways associated with the program. He now boasts a 33-16 overall record.
