INDIANA, Pa. – Indiana University of Pennsylvania's (IUP) Women's tennis program is the most successful dynasty of the decade in the PSAC. The Crimson Hawks have won five consecutive PSAC Championships and forged ahead to the NCAA Tournament.
The team earned another award as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Tuesday. The hawks earned one of the ITA All-Academic Teams for Division II Women. To earn this, the team had to have a grade point average of 3.2 or above.
The Crimson Hawks also had six individuals named Scholar Athletes by the ITA. They include
Isabelle Oikawa Torres,
Veronica Sirci,
Ming Deewajee,
Dani Ramos,
Hannah Beitat, and Lieselotte Hartlohner. Each of these student athletes recorded at least a 3.5 grade point average for the 2024-24 academic year.
