AUSTIN, Texas – Crimson Hawk Cross Country runner Dan Gibney has yet another award thrown his way as he was named Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators.
 
Gibney, who was an All-Region Runner and All-PSAC First team in 2024, was just as successful in the classroom as he was on the course. He was also recognized in the PSAC Fall Top Ten, the 72^nd IUP Athlete to make an appearance in the top ten. Gibney recorded a perfect 4.0 grade point average while studying Safety, Health, & Environmental Applied Sciences.
