Dillard Named Bevo Francis Award Top 50 Finalist

FORT MYERS, FL. Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee announced Sunday the top 50 finalists for the Bevo Francis Award, with Indiana University of Pennsylvania redshirt senior Dallis Dillard earning recognition as one of the nation's elite small-college players.

The award honors the top player across small college basketball, including NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA programs. This season marks the 10th anniversary of the honor, which has become one of the most prestigious individual awards outside Division I basketball.

Dillard has built a standout campaign for the Crimson Hawks, averaging 21.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.7 steals per game while serving as one of the team's primary leaders on both ends of the floor. The 6-foot-3 guard currently ranks among the national leaders in steals and steals per game, highlighting his defensive impact along with his scoring production.

Within the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, Dillard leads the conference in scoring, ranks second in assists and tops the league in steals. His all-around numbers have positioned him as one of the conference's most complete players this season.

He is one of two PSAC players named to the top 50 list, joined by sophomore Pace Prosser from Gannon University, underscoring the conference's strong national presence in Division II basketball this year.

The finalist list will continue to be trimmed in the coming weeks before the eventual winner is announced later in the season
