FT. MYERS, Fla. – Dallis Dillard continues to add to his list of postseason honors, as the IUP Crimson Hawks men's basketball redshirt senior was named a top 25 finalist for the Bevo Francis Award, presented by Small College Basketball.
The award is given annually to the player across NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA who is judged to have had the finest overall season in small college basketball.
Dillard has already earned several major honors this season, including PSAC West Athlete of the Year and D2CCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year. He has helped lead IUP to the Atlantic Regional Final of the NCAA Tournament, where the Crimson Hawks will play Tuesday with a berth in the Elite Eight on the line.
The standout guard was the only player in the PSAC to average more than 20 points per game this season. He also averages 6.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists while totaling 78 steals on the year.
