Junior Kiersten Zerbe was named an IUP Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 13. Zerbe had a huge week offensively for the women's soccer team, scoring four goals and assisting on another as the Crimson Hawks split their two games. The forward's big game came in Saturday's 7-4 victory over Mansfield, posting her first career hat-trick. She also found teammate Lexie Palluconi for IUP's final score of the day. Against Ashland earlier in the week, Zerbe scored one goal in the team's 4-2 loss.

Zerbe leads the Crimson Hawks and is tied for first in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with five goals and 11 points this year. Both are already career-highs.
