Nick Patton claimed the third overall finish at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Pittsburgh, helping lead the men's cross country team to a fourth place team finish. Patton finished the 8k race with a time of 25:55, only 15 seconds behind the leader. This is the second consecutive week Patton finihsed as the top runner for IUP, coming in 11th place at the Paul Short Invitational.
