Football freshman running back Samir Bullock has been named an IUP Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Sunday, September 25. This is Bullock's first IUP weekly honor. 

Bullock helped the ninth-ranked Crimson Hawks post a dominating 56-28 win at Edinboro on Saturday, as he rushed 18 times for a career-high 153 yards and two touchdowns. He also added a reception for nine yards. The freshman back was part of a 335 yard effort for IUP on the day. His big play came on a zone read play in the second quarter, getting the give and taking it 57 yards for a score.

Bullock leads the Crimson Hawks with 313 rushing yards this year, averaging 8.2 yards per carry with four touchdowns.
