Mike Box was named the PSAC West Offensive Athlete of the Week after having a career day in leading the Crimson Hawks to a 55-20 blowout win over Gannon on Senior Day. The quarterback set career-highs by going 21-for-25 for 378 yards and four touchdowns. The 378 yards was the most by an IUP quarterback since Brian Eyerman threw for 407 against Saginaw Valley State back in 2001. It was the first 300-yard passing day for an IUP quarterback since Andrew Krewatch finished with 313 against Gannon back in 2008 and also the last time an IUP quarterback threw for four touchdowns in a single game. It's the fifth-most passing yards in a single game in IUP history, tying Krewatch's total he threw against Shepherd in 2007. His 375 total yards are sixth most in school history and he's now thrown for 32 career touchdowns, eighth all-time at IUP.
