Sophomore women's swimmer Bria Otwell has been named an IUP Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Sunday, December 11. It's Otwell's third career IUP weekly honor, first of the 2016-17 season.

Otwell won both the 500 free (5:23.62) and the 200 fly (2:12.97) in conference championship qualifying times. She also recorded a third place showing in the 200 IM finishing with a time of 2:18.95.
