Senior sprinter Lizzy Cunningham was named an IUP Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Sunday, March 26. 

Cunningham had a successful start to the outdoor season, putting up an NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 400 hurdles at California's Early Bird Invitational. She finished in 1:00.91, which won the event and is the best time in the PSAC so far this season. She also ran the lead leg on the 4x400 relay that also finished first overall with a time of 3:53.69.
