Kenneth Sames is an IUP Athlete of the Week after winning his first collegiate tournament with a two-under 140 at the 51^st Annual Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational. Sames shot a four-under 67 in the opening round of the tournament, which was hosted by IUP and held at Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort in Blairsville. Entering the second round in second place, he shot a two-over 73 on a day in which winds reached 20 miles per hour. He finished one stroke ahead of a three-way tie for second place.
