Kempa claimed his second consecutive tournament victory, winning the Glade Springs Intercollegiate Championship hosted at The Resort at Glade Springs Black Knight Country Club in Daneils, WV. In the second of Monday's two rounds, Kempa rallied to shoot a one-under 71 and earned the victory on Tuesday, shooting an even par. He finished the tournament with a six-over 222. For his efforts, he was also named the PSAC Men's Golfer of the Week for the second time this season. His performance led the Crimson Hawks to the overall tournament win, which was their second consecutive victory as well.
