Stephanie Bianco (King of Prussia/Upper Merion) scored three goals including a goal with :25 seconds left but it wasn't enough as the Crimson Hawks dropped a 14-13 decision to Bloomsburg in PSAC lacrosse action Friday afternoon.

IUP (3-2, 2-1 PSAC West) trailed 5-4 with 8:10 to play in the first half but Alexa Lodovici (Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Regional) tied the score by beating Sara Bates to set the halftime score.

With 2:23 to play Bloomsburg (5-3, 2-1) opened up a 14-11 lead on a Samantha King goal, but the Crimson Hawks stormed back scoring twice getting goals from Becca Vogt (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) and Bianco.

Lodovici notched four goals and one assist. Jessica Beck (Baltimore, MD/Western Tech) and Vogt each tallied a pair of goals. Colleen Berlin (Baltimore, MD/Institute of Notre Dame) and Beth Glashagel also scored for IUP. Katherine Davis took the loss in net for IUP making seven saves.

The Crimson Hawks look to bounce back against East Stroudsburg Saturday in another PSAC tilt.
