LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The IUP women's lacrosse team returned to the PSAC Tournament for the first time since 2023, and the Crimson Hawks' success was reflected in the conference postseason awards announced Wednesday afternoon.
Six IUP players earned All-PSAC honors, including three first-team selections and three second-team honorees, as the Crimson Hawks finished the regular season with a 6-4 PSAC record and secured the No. 3 seed in the West Division.
Among the honorees were two defenders who moved up from second team to first team after earning recognition last season.
Senior Rachel Knight and sophomore Averie Moul both earned first-team All-PSAC honors after second-team selections in 2025. The defensive duo helped anchor one of the conference's strongest defensive units, as IUP finished with a positive scoring margin and ranked among just seven PSAC teams to do so.
Knight continued to build on one of the most accomplished defensive careers in program history, moving into the top five all-time at IUP in both caused turnovers and ground balls. She led the Crimson Hawks in both categories and started all 17 regular-season games.
Moul was close behind Knight in ground balls while leading the team in draw controls and ranking second in caused turnovers. She also started all 17 games and played a major role in IUP's defensive consistency throughout the season.
The third first-team selection for IUP was senior midfielder Alexi Crosby, earning All-PSAC honors for the first time in her career.
Crosby started all 17 games and finished with 31 goals and six assists. She posted a shot-on-goal percentage better than 76 percent while also contributing defensively, ranking among the team leaders in both ground balls and caused turnovers.
On the second team, junior attacker Julia Steere and senior midfielder Macenzie Haragos were recognized after serving as two of IUP's top offensive weapons all season.
Steere led the duo with 35 goals and added 12 assists, while Haragos scored 31 goals and tallied eight assists. The pair combined for 66 goals and played a major role in several late-season wins as IUP battled for playoff positioning.
Senior defender Devon Nee rounded out IUP's All-PSAC selections with her first career postseason honor.
Nee started all 17 games and was a key part of the Crimson Hawks' defensive core alongside Knight and Moul. She ranked third on the team in both ground balls and caused turnovers and was one of only two IUP players with more than 50 draw controls, finishing second on the team.
The PSAC West major award winners were led by Seton Hill senior Mila Udovicic, who was named Athlete of the Year. Slippery Rock's Paige Jenkins earned Defensive Player of the Year honors, while teammate Aleigha Dubroc was named Freshman of the Year. Slippery Rock head coach Taryn Burkholder was selected as Coach of the Year.
