THE GAME AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks look to head into their winter break on a high note as they hit the road for a big divisional matchup with Edinboro on Saturday. Tipoff from McComb Fieldhouse is set for 3 p.m. IUP enters with a record of 7-5 overall and 4-3 in the PSAC after outlasting California (Pa.) 62-51 on Wednesday night. It was a bounce back win for the Crimson Hawks, who had lost at Kutztown and 10th-ranked Fairmont State in their previous two games. Edinboro is fresh off a 105-102 double overtime home victory over Gannon, also bouncing back from a non-conference road loss in its previous outing. The Fighting Scots are 6-3 overall and lead the PSAC West at 6-1.

STORYLINES
• IUP has a seven-game win streak in their final contests before winter break dating back to the 2008-09 season
• Last year's 79-77 overtime loss at Edinboro snapped IUP's 13-game win streak over the Fighting Scots, which dated back to the 2008-09 season; It was also the first loss at McComb Fieldhouse for IUP since 2008, a streak of five straight wins
• Edinboro snapped a four-game losing streak to Gannon with its win on Wednesday night
• IUP head coach Joe Lombardi is 13-7 all-time against Edinboro, losing his first six games against the Fighting Scots before winning 13 straight
• The Crimson Hawks are giving up 68.2 points per game, which ranks third in the PSAC; They've limited opponents to 70 or fewer points seven times in 12 games
• Edinboro averages 79.4 points per game, fifth in the conference; guards Jaymon Mason and Henri Wade-Chatman are the top scoring duo in the PSAC, averaging 23.1 points and 19.3 points per game, respectively
• Last week's game at Fairmont State was the Crimson Hawks' first regular season game against a ranked opponent in recent history, as IUP's nationally-ranked opponents usually come in the postseason; IUP went 3-1 against ranked opponents in the NCAA tournament last year
• The Crimson Hawks have played five games against 2015 NCAA tournament teams and have a 3-2 record in those games, with wins over University of the Sciences (72-64), American International (77-60) and at Gannon (72-61), and losses at Mercyhurst (64-57) and at Fairmont State (85-72); IUP has four more games against tournament teams from last year, including two against Slippery Rock and one each against Gannon and Mercyhurst, both at home
• IUP's 7-5 start is its worst 12-game start to a season since opening up 7-5 in 2007-08, Lombardi's second season; The Crimson Hawks finished that year with a 13-15 record

BRANDON NORFLEET AMONG TOP SCORERS IN PSAC
Sr. G Brandon Norfleet (Virginia Beach, Va. /Landstown) is IUP's top scoring threat and statistically all-around best player. He leads IUP in scoring, field goals made, free throws made, free throw percentage, assists, steals and minutes played. He's also second on the team in three-point percentage and third in three-pointers made and total rebounds. 
• Norfleet has scored 20 points seven times this year, including a streak of five games, and tied a career-high 26 points against three straight opponents - American Int'l, Gannon, & Shippensburg
• Norfleet made 22 straight free throw attempts over the course of seven games, beginning with West Chester (Nov. 22) and ending at Fairmont State (Dec. 12)
• Norfleet tied a career-high with nine assists vs. Cal and grabbed a season-high nine rebounds at Shippensburg
• Norfleet has scored 1,260 career points and has 66 double-digit scoring games
• Norfleet is No. 1 in the PSAC and ranks No. 9 in the country in total points (244)
• Norfleet is No. 3 in the PSAC and No. 45 in the country in points per game (20.3)
• Norfleet is No. 1 the PSAC and ranks No. 5 in the country in field goals made (90)
• Norfleet is No. 11 in the PSAC in field goal percentage (.479)
• Norfleet is tied for No. 6 in the PSAC in free throws made (47)
• Norfleet is No. 16 in the PSAC in free throw percentage (.797)
• Norfleet is No. 3 in the PSAC in assists (49)

JACOBO DIAZ STEPPING UP HIS PRODUCTION
Fr. F Jacobo Diaz (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain/CBA Gran Canaria) has increased his production in the absence of R-Sr. F Devon Cottrell (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Gateway). Diaz is averaging 10.3 points and 6.3 rebounds over the last four games, posting his first career double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds at Fairmont State. Over that span, he's shooting 43.8 percent (14-32) from the field and 75 percent (9-12 from the free throw line and has eight assists and eight steals. 
• Diaz has three double-figure scoring games, including 17 points at Fairmont State and 15 points vs. West Chester
• He has three double-figure rebounding games, with a season-high of 11 against Bowie State and American Int'l
• He's shooting 76.7 percent from the free throw line (23-30); Diaz went 6-6 from the line against American Int'l and 5-5 at Fairmont State
• Diaz had a season-high four steals at Kutztown

ANTHONY GLOVER HAS BEEN AN ADDED SCORING THREAT
So. G Anthony Glover (Toledo, Ohio/St. John's Jesuit) has increased his offensive production as of late, hitting double-figures in scoring in four of the last five games, including a career-high 21 points at Kutztown and 13 gainst Cal. He has six double-digit scoring games this year and is third on the team in scoring with 9.8 points per game. 
• Glover ranks seventh in the PSAC with a 43.9 three-point field percentage and is tied for seventh 25 made three-pointers
• He went 5-5 from three-point range at Kutztown and went a combined 11-15 from beyond the arc in three games against Gannon, Shippensburg and the Golden Bears
• Scored a career-high 21 points on 8-12 shooting at Kutztown

DADDY UGBEDE AGAIN PERFORMING CONSISTENTLY
Sr. F Daddy Ugbede (Gardena, Calif./Serra) is second on the team with 11.0 points per game despite playing in just 19.6 minutes per contest. His 70.4 field goal percentage would rank first in the PSAC and fourth in the country if he had enough made field goals to qualify. 
• Ugbede had season-highs of 20 points in 34 minutes at Gannon
• He's made 50 percent of his shots in all 12 games, going 4-4 from the field against ESU and Kutztown, 7-8 against American International and 8-11 at Gannon

DANTE LOMBARDI HAS BEEN PSAC WEST's TOP FRESHMAN
Lombardi has been named the PSAC West Freshman of the Week twice this year, receiving honors in consecutive weeks on Nov. 23 and 30. He's second on the team with 34 assists and 20 three-pointers made and is fourth with 9.0 points per game. He has four double-figure scoring games, including a season-high 18 points against Mercyhurst.

JOE LOMBARDI BECAME PROGRAM'S ALL-TIME WINNINGEST COACH IN VICTORY OVER THE SCIENCES
With IUP's comeback 72-64 win over The Sciences on Nov. 27, HC Joe Lombardi became the IUP men's basketball program's all-time winningest coach, surpassing Gary Edwards' (1996-2006) 206 career victories. In addition to his 210 wins, Lombardi has a .722 career winning percentage in his nine-plus seasons, the best in IUP history. He hit the 200-win plateau with IUP's victory over Glenville State in the first round of last year's NCAA tournament. He's the fastest IUP coach to reach the milestone.
