LEWISBURG, Pa. – Six Crimson Hawks hit conference qualifying marks as the IUP men's and women's track teams competed in distance events at Bucknell University's Bison Classic on Saturday afternoon. 
Five of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks came on the men's side, with three of those being new season bests. 
Austin Cooper (King of Prussia, Pa. /Upper Merion) and 
Andrew Morgan (Ulysses, Pa. /Northern Potter) had of those season bests, each in the 1500 meters. Cooper finished fifth with a time of 3:55.90 and Morgan crossed the line in 34th place with a time of 4:00.54. 
Alex Hampel (Middletown, Del./Salesianum) and 
Greg Beaudette (Johnston, R.I./Bishop Hendricken ) also hit PSAC times in the 10,000 meters, finishing in second and seventh with times of 31:52.01 and 32:08.31, respectively. The men's fifth qualifier was 
Tim Lynch (Harleysville, Pa. /Souderton), who finished 10th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 9:37.01. 
On the women's side, 
Rachel Magliane (Danville, Pa. /Danville) had the lone qualifying mark with a time of 38:46.37 in the 10,000 meters, finishing second overall. 
Day two of the Bison Classic continues on Sunday as the Crimson Hawks will compete in sprints.
