Men's Golf Begins Three-Day Matchup at NCAA Region Championships
IUP at Atlantic/East Region Championships | Baldwinsville, NY | Monday, May 2 – Wednesday, May 4

The IUP men's golf team will head to New York as they begin a three-day tournament in the 2016 Atlantic/East Region Championships. A match in which the Crimson Hawks soared into second place last year out of 20 teams. IUP will lean on senior Brett Geiser (Markham, Ont. /Markham District) and junior Max Kirsch (Ebensburg, Pa. /Central Cambria) to keep them in the hunt for the championship.
 
Women's Lacrosse to face West Chester in PSAC Championship Semifinals
IUP vs. West Chester | Erie, Pa. | Friday, May 6 

The IUP women's lacrosse squeaked by a Millersville team as they mounted a historical comeback to advance into the PSAC semi-finals. IUP was trailing 5-0 at halftime to Millersville when they came out in the second half with a vengeance and scored eight straight goals that led to a 14-10 IUP victory. IUP fell to West Chester earlier in the year 8-9 in a very close matchup. IUP will look to lean on points leaders Amy Weinberg (Clarksville, Md./Atholton) and Ally Burrows (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus)
 
Men's and Women's Track & Field Travel to Compete in Last Chance Qualifier
IUP at SRU Last Chance Qualifier | Slippery Rock, Pa. | Friday, May 6

The IUP men's and women's track and field will travel to Slippery Rock this Friday to compete in the SRU Last Chance Qualifier. IUP is coming off a weekend at the Penn Relays and the Paul Kaiser Classic in which they had four athletes qualify for PSAC marks. Look for Jeremy Claypoole (Bellwood, Pa. /Bellwood-Antis) and Caleb Cordell (Erie, Pa. /McDowell) to continue putting up PSAC qualifying marks this weekend in their respected events. 

Women's Tennis Heads into NCAA Regionals
IUP vs. TBD | Location TBD | Sunday, May 8-9

IUP women's tennis continues its postseason run as the Crimson Hawks will play in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships this weekend. The location and the seeds will be announced on Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m. on NCAA.com, but IUP has held the No. 1 or No. 2 spot each week and will look to be one of two schools selected to have hosting responsibilities.
