GAME AT A GLANCE
The IUP field hockey team (3-12, 2-6 PSAC) closes out the home portion of its 2018 schedule Saturday with game against No. 5 Shippensburg (12-3, 6-2 PSAC). The Crimson Hawks have dropped five straight matches, but four of those have come by just one goal, including their last second 2-1 loss to No. 7 Kutztown a week ago. The Raiders have won five straight including three consecutive shutouts over Bloomsburg (2-0), Slippery Rock (3-0) and Seton Hill (6-0).
Prior to the contest, the Crimson Hawks will honor their five seniors on Senior Day -

NOTES
>> The Raiders won this season's earlier "non-league" matchup 4-2 in Shippensburg on September 29. Accardi had a career-high 22 saves as the Raiders put up 30 total shots (27 SOG).

>> Shippensburg is 1.5 games back of West Chester for the conference lead with two games left to play. The Raiders are also third in the latest NCAA Division II Atlantic Region rankings entering the weekend.
>> Three of the Crimson Hawks' seven losses to ranked opponents have come by just one goal - 2-1 to No. 7 Millersville (Oct. 6), 2-1 to No. 7 Bloomsburg (Oct. 13), and 2-1 to No. 7 Kutztown (Oct. 27).
>> Nine IUP players have scored at least one goal this season, including a team-best four from Kelly. Kelly also leads the team with nine points.
>> The Crimson Hawks have assisted on 17 of their 19 goals (89 pct.) this season. Reightler leads the team with four while
Brianna Lubarsky has three.
>> Accardi is fifth in the PSAC and 12th in Division II with a 0.789 save percentage. She's fourth in the nation with 138 saves and fifth with 9.20 saves per game.
>> Accardi enters this weekend seventh in IUP single season history with those 138 saves, 17 away from tying Jen Lawler (2000) for sixth with 155.
>> IUP is still in PSAC postseason contention with three matches left to play. Only one team (East Stroudsburg) has clinched while eight teams vie for the final five open spots with one week left in the regular season.

Kimberly Kelly took over the team scoring lead after a goal and assist in IUP's 3-2 loss to Mansfield. Kelly now leads the team with four goals and nine points.

Olivia Accardi moved into the top 10 in IUP single season history with 122 saves. Currently in eighth place, she'll move into seventh with her next seven saves. The all-time record is 200 held by Jody Rothermel in 1995.
