GAME NOTES
>> The Crimson Hawks were picked fourth in the PSAC preseason coaches' poll released on Feb. 9; East Stroudsburg garnered 10 first place votes to sit atop the poll, with Mercyhurst (two votes) and West Chester (one) coming in ahead of IUP
>> IUP is ranked 19th in the IWLCA Division II preseason poll, which was released at the end of January; It's the sixth straight year that the Crimson Hawks are ranked or receiving votes in the coaches' national poll
>> IUP is ranked 16th in the Nike/US Lacrosse Top 20 preseason poll
>> The Crimson Hawks return six of their top eight scorers from last year, including All-South Region and All-PSAC selection Ally Burrows (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus), who led the team with 54 goals and 62 points as a sophomore in 2017
>> Fellow junior Adrianna Greco also returns after scoring 39 goals last year
>> For the first time since 2015, IUP will have a new goalie open the season after two-time All-PSAC selection Angela Lontoc (Columbus, Ohio/Dublin Scioto) finished her career; Freshman Lauren Piecknick (Upper Saint Clair, PA/Upper Saint Clair) is slated to take over in the net starting Monday
>> IUP HC Mindy Richmond enters the season just four wins shy of 100 for her career with a 96-61 (.611) overall record in nine seasons
