Nicole Smith competes on first day of NCAA Swimming Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – IUP junior Nicole Smith (Dover, PA/Dover) competed in the 50 yard freestyle on the opening day of the 2018 NCAA Division II Swimming Championships Wednesday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
 
Smith swam in the morning preliminaries of the event, finishing with a time of 24.44.

Smith is set to compete in the 100, 200 and 500 yard freestyle this week, while teammate Regan Chalk (Hanover, PA/New Oxford) will compete in the 200 yard butterfly.
 
The championships run from Wednesday thru Saturday in Greensboro.
