GREENSBORO, N.C. – IUP junior
Nicole Smith (Dover, PA/Dover) finished up her week at the NCAA Division II Swimming Championships Saturday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

Smith finished with a 36th place finish in the preliminaries of the 100 yard freestyle in the morning session, posting a time of 51.54. A total of 52 swimmers compete in the event with the cut line at 50.69.
Smith competed in four events over the week, earning honorable mention All-American honors Thursday and Friday in the 200 and 500 freestyle. She broke her own school record twice in the 500 free, first in the prelims and again in the finals.
Classmate
Regan Chalk (Hanover, PA/New Oxford) also competed at the NCAA Championships, finishing 20th overall in the prelims of the 200 yard butterfly with a personal best time.
